We are bound by the (NPPs) and will comply with them to the extent required by the Australian Privacy Act. We recognise the importance of your privacy. We are committed to protecting any personal information which you provide to us. This privacy policy describes how we manage personal information and safeguard your privacy.

 

1. Collecting personal information about you.

The kinds of personal information We collect and hold will depend upon the information required on any part of the Site, for example personal information which you include in an email or other communication. Some of this information we collect in these circumstances may not be personal information because it will not reveal your identity. The only personal information which We collect about you when you use our Web sites is what you tell us about yourself, for example, by completing an online form such as a purchase order/request for services and quotes or by sending us an email. We may record your email address if you send us an email. We do not collect personal information without you knowing about it, for example by using cookies.

3. Contracting out services and disclosures.

We recognize and acknowledge that an agreement creates a confidential relationship between Andrew Elsegood and the Client and that information, which is not within the public domain as of the date of this agreement, concerning Client's business affairs, customers, vendors, finances, properties, methods of operation, and documentation, and other such information, whether written, oral, or otherwise, is confidential in nature. All such information concerning Client is hereinafter collectively referred to as "Confidential Information."

 

4. Access to your personal information.

In most cases, if We do hold any personal information about you, you can gain access to it. An exception might be, for example, personal information in an email which We archive in such a way that we cannot use it or may not be able to find it. We will handle requests for access to your personal information in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. We will deal with all requests for access to personal information as soon as possible. Requests for a large amount of information, or information which is not currently in use, may require further time before a response can be given. In some cases, consistently with the National Privacy Principles, We may refuse to give you access to personal information we hold about you. If We refuse to give you access we will provide you with reasons for our refusal. Generally, if you request us to do so we will amend any personal information about you held by us which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. If we disagree with you about the accuracy, completeness or currency of a record of your personal information held by us, we will take reasonable steps to associate with that record a statement to the effect that you claim this to be the case, if you request us to do so.

6. Changes to our privacy policy.
